After completing service in the United States Army,
Robert W. Ricketts III began a sales career.
That career lead him to Dallas, whereupon in 1968 he
established SpecTape of Texas, a distributor of
pressure sensitive tapes. In 1970, he also
assisted in forming National Label Systems, Inc, to
compliment the SpecTape line of products. In
1972 the 2 companies were merged and renamed Concote
Corporation. SpecTape remained a trade name
and operating division of Concote. In the
early 1980's, Bob and his partners purchased
Insul-Fab of Texas as a small custom converter
of equipment grade
fiberglass and foam goods and developed it into a
world-class provider of a variety of products to OEM
markets. Although he recently resigned his
title as Chief Executive Officer to pursue other
interests, Bob Ricketts still serves as Chairman of
the Board of Concote Corporation. |

Robert E. Hanton
has over 35 years of experience in the pressure
sensitive tape and label industry and at least as many years
experience as an accountant. Bob Hanton began his
career with Mueller Brass in Port Huron, Michigan.
In 1969, Mr. Hanton moved to Dallas and became a
cost accountant for Bayfield Industries before
meeting Bob Ricketts and becoming a business partner in 1970.
In the early days, his roles included Label Press
Operator by day, and Accountant at night while
developing the company. More recently, he is
commonly known as the Chief Executive Officer
and Chief Financial Officer of Concote
Corporation. |

Shelby Ricketts represents the second generation of
ownership of Concote Corporation. Shelby has been
involved with Concote Corporation since his
childhood, spending summers loading trucks or
producing parts. Shelby joined Concote in an
official capacity in 1998, after practicing law with
a Dallas law firm and serving as Real Estate Counsel
for Blockbuster Entertainment at its corporate
headquarters in Dallas. Today, Shelby serves as
President and Chief Operations Officer of
Concote Corporation, emphasizing Quality and
Management Systems for the company.
